The Samlex 24-12VDC Stepdown Converter has an advance Switch Mode circuit design with Power Efficient MOSFET technology. This unit accepts 20-30 volts DC input and outputs a highly regulated 13.8 Volts DC.
Low noise and RFI suppression. Short circuit protection. Overvoltage protection. Overload protection. Temperature compensated Current limited. Output-side overvoltage protection, input-side overvoltage/ transient protection and input-side reverse polarity protection
For use in Negative Ground systems.
Applications: Automobiles, Marine craft, Construction vehicles, Buses, Heavy Trucks, Farm equipment, and other equipment where the electrical system is 24VDC, Negative Ground. Steps down 24 volts to 12 volts for powering devices such as radios, audio / video, lights and other accessories. Designed for heavy-duty operation.
