The Furutech The FI-10G Gold plated IEC Inlet sounds slightly warmer and is well suited for digital and solid state audio gear. This premium IEC inlet sports a nylon / fiberglass housing and high conductivity Phosphor Bronze base metal. The Furutech FI-10 IEC inlet is a significant upgrade to most audiophile components. Most stock inlets are made of nickel-plated brass and PVC body. When used in conjunction with the Furutech FI-25 series IEC plugs on your power cord, you'll have a connection that has a very tight grip, in addition to great sound! This IEC inlet is simple to install, and does NOT require soldering. The wires are simply screwed into the inlet.
Also available as a Rhodium plated unit that provides a somewhat cooler presentation. We also recommend the Rhodium or silver units for video applications.
